Shelter: the Sociedad Protectora Animales y Plantas Benidorm (SPAP)
Where: Benidorm, Spain
Manager: Donna Vicenta Sanchez
Volunteers: approximately ten (Dutch) volunteers, along with four paid staff
Activity: care of dogs, cats, as well as donkeys, ponies, geese, goats, etc.
Capacity: a house for the caretaker, an office, doctor's office, forty dog houses, playgrounds, a large cattery and puppy kindergarten, there is sufficient space for currently 280 dogs, 125 cats, several donkeys, ponies, geese, and chickens.

Improvement realized with the support SBA:
- Two trucks
- Completely new fencing around shelter
- Renovation of the cats shelter
- Interior for the vetenarianroom including necessary equipment for the vet
- No special needs at this time, but regular support in operation
