Volunteers: 3 adults and 3 to 4 children who help in the summer holidays

Activity:

This shelter helps about 250 dogs per year. The shelter places about 120 dogs per year in new homes. All animals who enter the shelter are spayed or neutered. The aim is to decrease the number of strays born into unhappy conditions. During the summer, the shelter organizes educational programs for children to teach them how to deal wisely and kindly with dogs. The earlier in life that people know how to treat animals, the better.

Motto: "Every dog deserves a friendly smile and a pat on the head."

Capacity: about 100 dogs (and a few cats)
